Smart devices like computers and phones are good at finding the internet. Not-so-smart devices like printers and the Caseta bridge are not good at finding the internet. Your modem may need to be in bridge mode (internal router turned off) to allow not-so-smart devices to access the internet.
If you give tech support the MAC address and/or serial number they can tell if your Bridge has access to the internet.
