Is the maximum number of Aux repeaters in a 2 MAIN-REP set-up 4 or 8? Do the Aux repeaters need to be within 60 feet of the primary MAIN-REP, or can it be 60 feet from the secondary MAIN-REP?

Each Main can have up to 4 Aux. However, EACH Aux can only be associated with 1 Main. Therefore you can have a total of 1 Main + 4 Aux x 2.

Each Repeater (Main or Aux) must be within 60 feet of only its own repeater group. Therefore, if you look at it in a linear frame it is 60+60+60+60+60 for Group 1. You can then double the range for the 2nd Group as long as a Main or Aux from the 2nd Group is within 60 ft from Group 1.

If the first repeater is wired to the Main (Max 1000') then a second aux can be 60 to the first aux?
And theoretically in a case where all connection between repeaters are wired, then the max distance is 1000' x number of aux repeaters?

Does any RadioRA2 device acts like a repeater? I heard something like the signal can jump between keypads too. (?)

I believe the maximum wired distance TOTAL is 1000', but you are correct where a wired aux at 1000' can communicate with a wireless aux as long as they are in the 60' range.

Keypads can receive signals from other devices than the repeaters. This is unreliable at best- scenes ten to not execute and the two way feedback becomes almost useless. Always have a repeater for communication.

The larger question (pun intended) is under what scenario do you envision needing that much coverage?
