Older Sevoia QED w/ New Savant system

Just installed a Savant control System into a Condo in Chicago. Client has existing Sevoia QED's. Everything wired back to 2 SVQ-10-PNL in a closet.

Is there any way to integrate these into the savant system at this point? Are older Illuminations processors still available? Will a Q96 work with QS?

There is a third party network interface for qed mentioned in this thread (https://forums.lutron.com/showthread...ss-integration) but you'd have to write a driver for it.

The above-mentioned post is geared more to control from a Lutron QS system (RA2, HomeworksQS, Caseta), but has good information.

From Savant, you would either use contact closures (SVQ-CCI-8), Infra-red (SV-IR), or Homeworks Illumination (HWI-Q96 and a H4P5 processor) to control these QED shades. Illumianation processors are still available.

Each SVQ-CCI-8 can be configured for 1, 2, or 4 shade groups. The H4P5 can control shades individually or in any group configuration. It really depends how many shade groups you have as to which would be more cost effective.

Thanks, I didnt know if the Illumination processors were still available. A little explensive to do shades at his point.. But still a lot less than switching all the shades over to QS.

Used qed cci go for next to nothing on the secondhand market if your client would consider that, but they are kind of bulky especially if you have to stack several of them together. I think the best user experience would be from that sc100qed network interface mentioned in the other thread with a custom savant driver, which should be very easy to implement and has way more features than a contact closure can give you.
