How many pico remotes can I program to one Maestro wallbox control?

It is recommended to keep simple systems of up to ten devices. This includes dimmers, switches, and/or wireless controls. When you reach ten devices in a system and want to expand then it is recommended to move to a Radio RA 2 system.

If those are the only devices in the simple system then yes.

The answer to your questions is 9. I think of it in terms of radios. A Maestro Wireless dimmer has a radio. A Maestro companion dimmer does not. The Maestro Wireless system is limited to 10 radios. If you have 1 Pico remote (1 radio) you can have 9 Maestro dimmers. If you have 1 Maestro Wireless dimmer it can be assigned to 9 Pico remotes.

Thank you for the further clarification Randy.

I don't see how it could be smart enough to enforce those limitations. Pico is a TX-only product. It doesn't know anything. The only limitation is how many transmitters the receiver can remember which is 9 or 10? Each device has a unique ID right? So there is seemingly no reason you couldn't have 1 pico controlling 100 dimmers or 10 picos controlling 100 dimmers. Aside from RF range.
