Ecosmart 100W bulbs
I purchased the Caseta dimmer and switch system as the website for Ecosmart bulbs stated that their 100W equivalent bulbs are compatible.
However, they don’t seem to be as bright as they should be. I noticed that the Ecosmart 60W are listed as compatible by the Lutron website.
Is the problem simply that Ecosmart are being somewhat economical with the truth about Caseta compatibility?
Are Lutron Caseta switches likely to support the 100W Ecosmart bulbs in the future?
Thanks,
Charlie

Hello CButterworth,
Thank you for your post!
Unfortunately, there is currently no industry standard for the manufacturing of LEDs and the performance will vary with different dimming controls. We would need to know the model number of the Ecosmart LED bulbs you're using to check for compatibility testing results. We do test with Ecosmart LED bulbs, but the dimming curve will vary with every LED bulb and every different dimmer.
If selecting another LED is an option you could use our LED product selection tool, found at www.lutron.com/ledtool. This LED selection tool will allow you to generate a list of compatible LED products for all of our LED rated dimming controls. You will all be able to access a testing report for each of the LEDs listed here. The report will provide you with a list of all the dimmers we can recommend for that LED, the amount of LEDs each dimmer can control and the measured dimming range you will experience.
Hope this info helps!
