design programming for 3 way and 4 way switching

Hi I'm trying to activate all the switches in a new house and I am using RRD-6ND switches with RD-RD switches in 3 way and 4 way applications. when i activate one switch in a specific 3 way it deactivates the other. Does this mean I should remove the RD-RD switches from the programming and only activate the RRD-6ND??

You only activate the RRD-6ND. You don't need to activate the RD-RD. When you are in activation, the software sees the RD-RD "push" the same as seeing the RRD-6ND "push"
