Thread: Timer Delay

    Timer Delay

I installed an MA-T51 timer on a bathroom fan. There is a 20second delay from when I hit the “TapButton” to when the fan actually turns on. I’ve gone trough the programming directions thoroughly and can’t seem to find out how to turn off the delay. Any suggestions?

    Hello David@yahoo.com,
It sounds like this could potentially be a minimum load issue as there is nothing within the advanced programming guide for this control that can change or manipulate a delay in the tap on function.
We would recommend trying to use the neutral based version of this Maestro Countdown Timer with a model number of MA-T51MN, for more information on this control please see our support site @ http://www.lutron.com/en-US/pages/Su...umber=MA-T51MN

It is important to note that this is a Neutral based control and will require you to have neutral wires present in the wallbox in order for it to function.

    Hope this information helps!
