Compatible dimmer for Philips Warm Glow PAR20 7 watt
The model number for this bulb is not on the Lutron list (Model # 9290013173), so I suppose it is recent product. Has anybody identified a compatible Lutron dimmer? Philips was not helpful.

Hello Bedgar,
It appears that we have not tested this particular Philips LED Par20 bulb (Model #9290013173), so won't be able to provide any dimming control model numbers that would provide the best dimming performance.
If selecting another LED is an option you could use our LED product selection tool, found at www.lutron.com/ledtool. This LED selection tool will allow you to generate a list of compatible LED products for all of our LED rated dimming controls. You will all be able to access a testing report for each of the LEDs listed here. The report will provide you with a list of all the dimmers we can recommend for that LED, the amount of LEDs each dimmer can control and the dimming range you will experience.
Hope this info helps!
Thanks,
Justin F.

Thank you Justin. This bulb gives excellent warm lighting upon dimming. There is no competitive alternative, so I will keep looking for a compatible switch.

I'm also having the same question.
I've done a lot of research and established that Lutron Caseta is the best smart home switch (congrats!), but that (1) PD-10NXD does not have ELV and does not work with ELV lights, (2) PD-5NE requires a Neutral wire that is not present in most 1960s coops in NYC, and (3) Philips PAR20 bulbs, which are the best bulbs on the market due to their warm glow, do not appear to work with either PD-10NXD. A few questions:1. Why doesn't PD-10NXD work with ELV?2. Why doesn't PD-10NXD work with Philips PAR20 bulbs? If you fixed these 2 things, you would have a really incredible product.

Good Morning JRSteelers,The PD-10NXD was designed to work with MLV loads only because we have the PD-5NE which can work with ELV or MLV. As for the Philips Par20 bulbs, is there a specific model number you're interested in? Every LED bulb can react differently to dimming. Even if 2 bulbs are close to identical, the individual components in the LED can have different reactions to dimming. If you are referring to the Par20 bulbs mentioned above, we haven't tested these bulbs and wouldn't be able to recommend a dimmer as we don't know what kind of performance you would see. For bulbs we haven't tested, you best option would be to contact the LED manufacturer to see if they have a recommended Caseta dimmer that would provide good dimming performance.
