Q-Manager Server issues with Microsoft Hyper-V

    Hello.
We have performed a new installation of Q-Manager in a Hyper-V virtual server. When we open Device IP to see if the server is discovering the processors, they show up duplicated. This behavior is affecting the rest of the configuration process. Are there any reported issues on compatibility with Hyper-V?

Hyper-V Manager is an administrative tool which allows you to manage Hyper-V hosts and virtual machines (VMs) both locally and remotely. Hyper-V Manager provides a graphical user interface (GUI) for centralized management of Hyper-V virtual environments.

Another one.Unless you're pushing the limits of free physical RAM, there should be almost no performance impact. Enabling Hyper-V will enable some services which will require a bit of RAM and the occasional CPU blip. upsers

Microsoft's virtualization software is called Hyper-V. (also known as hypervisor). Administrators can utilize their hardware to the most extent thanks to Hyper-V.

There have been no specific reported compatibility issues between Q-Manager and Microsoft Hyper-V. However, the duplicated processor entries you are experiencing could be related to a configuration or setup problem. It is recommended to verify your Hyper-V host settings, ensure that the virtual machine has been properly configured, and check for any conflicting configurations or misconfigurations. Additionally, you may want to consult the Q-Manager documentation or reach out to their support team for further assistance in troubleshooting and resolving the duplicated processor entries issue.

    Hello,

It seems you've encountered duplicated processor entries after installing Q-Manager on a Hyper-V virtual server. While I don't have the most current information on this, here are some general steps to consider:

    1. **Check Compatibility:** Ensure Q-Manager is compatible with your Hyper-V version.

    2. **Version Match:** Use the latest Q-Manager version compatible with your Hyper-V.

    3. **VM Configuration:** Review VM settings like virtual processors and CPU settings.

    4. **Integration Services:** Update Integration Services on your virtual machine.

    5. **Resources:** Allocate sufficient CPU cores and memory to your VM.

    6. **Updates:** Update Hyper-V and Q-Manager to the latest versions.

    7. **Community Support:** Seek help from Q-Manager's community or forums.

    8. **Testing:** Install Q-Manager on another setup to isolate the issue.

    9. **Logs:** Collect logs for assistance from support.

Good luck! Consider reaching out to support or forums for more tailored advice. https://www.kanatatreeservice.ca/emergency-tree-service

The VM is running on a different host server than the one you're trying to connect to. The connection between the host server and the VM was interrupted.
