Motion Sensor Switch angle of coverage

Is there a way to limit the sensor degree angle of coverage on the Maestro 2 Amp Motion Sensor Switch (MS-OPS2H-WH or MS-OPS2HW as the Lutron website has two different model numbers for the same switch)?

In my application, 180 degrees is not acceptable. I doubt the angle of sensitivity and be adjusted but could I achieve the same effect by covering part of the sensor window with opaque tape?

    Hello dasadler,

    Thank you for your inquiry!

Yes you can cover part of the sensor with white tape such as masking tape to decrease the 180 degree view.

We also manufacturer masking stickers for our sensors. If you would like us to send you the masking stickers, please email support@lutron.com to place the order for you.

    Hope this helps!

Julia K. thanks for the information. Can you tell me the cost of the masking stickers? Also, do you have a link for them so I can see what they look like?

    Thanks,

    Don

    Hello Don,

The stickers do not have a cost as they are a complimentary item we send as a curtesy to our customers. I do not have a physical image of their appearance but a description of how they function, please see the attached. If you would like us to send you them, please email support@lutron.com to further assist you.

    Hope this helps!

Thanks Julia, I sent an email requesting them when I read your previous post. Hope to get them soon. That diagram is helpful - thank you.
