Switch off motion sensor if curtain is not fully open
Hi to everyone,
I have a problem with conditional programming.
There is an automatic sliding door with a passive infrared sensor.
In front of the sliding door is curtain.
I shall switch off the passive infrared sensor for the automatic sliding door (via cco) if the curtain is not fully open.
Any ideas how to do this with conditional programming?
Cheers
Frank

None of the devices you listed have built-in timers. To edit a system timed event, you will need the RR2 software & database OR the Home Control+ app OR the Lutron Connect app.
With HC+. select any room, tap the "Events" icon, select the event and tap "EDIT" in the upper right corner. Similar procedure for Connect app.
Events are assigned to specific time clock modes. Vacation lights might be assigned to "Away." Exterior lights might be assigned to "Away" and "Normal." To check/change the mode you will need HC+ on a tablet to the Connect app.

Thank you for your reply, but I do not understand why you are talking about timed events. There is no timing for the event. It is just to match somehow if the curtain is in the open limit position or not. The logic how to do this is not the problem. But you can only assign logics in conditional programming for a button. And the button is the trigger for the logic. It would be very cool to create logics like timers in HWQS. I do not have a solution to trigger a logic every time the curtain will be moved by open/stop/close/stop.

Too many windows open. Sorry.
This conditional says, if the curtain is "open" close the CCO (enable PIR sensor), if the curtain is "not open" open the CCO (disable the PIR sensor).
HW Illumination had some pre-programmed sequences like Open/stop/close/stop for shades and fan speed control. They are probably coming for HQS but who knows when??
