    RA2 system with LUTRON LUT-MLC

So, we are having issues with a ton of LED fixtures and recessed cans in a job. My electrician on the job had a LUT-MLC laying in a box of random parts and we installed on a zone that was particulaly troublesome. it seemed to solve our issue. Now I am using RD-6na dimmers so I shouldn't technically need to use those, but it helps. What is everyones thoughts on that?

Good Morning PaulHagen, the LUT-MLC is a shunt capacitor that is designed to be used with non-neutral based switches, and occasionally reverse phase dimmers to help reduce LED flicker and LEDs that do not turn all the way off when the dimmer/switch is turned off. If you are using this with the RRD-6NA, please ensure that the dimmer is forced to reverse phase. Using the LUT-MLC on a forward phase dimmer or 6NA in forward phase WILL cause the dimmer to fail prematurely.

If you'd like to see if we've tested the LEDs you are using, you can check here: www.lutron.com/ledfinder
