Integral(direct-wired) contact closure input does not work

The integral contact closure input on the bank of the QS Timeclock (QSGR-TC-3S-WH-CPN5825),Unit setting:CCI Mode-timeclock; CCI Type-Maintained
When contact(Terminal A and B) open/release ,timeclock was not disabled. Wiring is ok.
What's wrong?

The instructions are not very clear but the way I read it, if you use a maintained contact the clock is disabled when the contact is closed, enabled when the contact is open.
