Fan Control w/ Vacancy Sensor (Auto Off) Question

    Hi,

So my boss has a MA-FQ4FM and a CM-FQ1 for fan speed control. Now the problem is people leave the fans on when no one is around and it wastes electricity so they want me to install a vacancy/occupancy sensor that auto turns off the fans when no one is in the room. So after doing research i suggested the MS-OPS6 to them.

I guess my question is can I keep the MA-FQ4FM and a CM-FQ1 for fan speed control and also use the MS-OPS6 for auto off?

Yes, you could. I would put the sensor before the FQ4. The motion sensor would "enable" the FQ4. The FQ4 should return to it's previous setting.
