PD-6WCL High Pitch Whine/Buzz

I just installed a PD-6WCL in place of an older Diva DV-600P. The dimmer is controlling a 6 in ceiling can lights w/ Cree LED retrofits. The dimmer works flawlessly, lights dim to very low levels without flicker, or hum. However, I notice a high pitched buzz from the Caseta dimmer - I can hear it up to about 3ft away from the switch - is this noise normal and expected? Never noticed any sound from the Diva, but that was an older, standard dimmer.

No. You should not hear anything from the dimmer. Verify the wiring and the dimmer is not overloaded. If it checks out, return it.
