    replacing 4-way switch with RD-RD

I have a scenario in my garage that uses 3 light switches to control the garage lights from 3 different areas. It looks like a 3-way, 4-way, and 3-way switch are used but I can't figure out how to replace the 4way switch (located in the "center" of the circuit) with a RD-RD. I could not find a wiring diagram in the literature that came with the dimmer. Can someone please educate me on this?
