Thread: Roomie control of Homeworks

    Roomie control of Homeworks

I am trying to control keypads directly from the Roomie App on an iPad. The home+ app works beautifully, I just need to add a few basic commands. Lights on/off, shades etc. I don't need dimming control. Is this the proper syntax to emulate pressing of button 1 on a keypad 29 connected to link 6 on processor 1?

Looks ok, just needs to be terminatted with a carriage return, hex 0D or decimal 13.

Thank you. I also need the username and password for the authentication; I can see the password when I upload the project to the processor but what is the username?

You can set up your own user pass in the illumination, interactive or qs software, check the help files.

We would recommend sending the login information to the Illumination system all in one string in the user name and leaving the password field blank. For example, the default login for the Illumination system "LutronGUI,jetski". In link 9 of the software you can configure your own user name and password combinations as Vining stated above.

Thank you. Is the default login "LutronGUI" changeable or no? I already setup my own password and user name for the home+; should I send that or the default(LutronGUI,jetski)?

If you have set up your own login, you can use it with the format "username, password". LutronGUI is the default and it does not need to be changed as you can always use the login information you create.
