Where does the main repeater get the clock/date and time from?

    Hi guys,
Where does the radiora2 main repeater get its clock /date and time setting from?
Is it from the PC when we do "transfer" programming to the system or from somewhere else (perhaps atomic clock signal)?

How do you check the time if we want to make sure it is accurate so all your timeclock events would work accordingly?

    Thanks,
    Joe

The date should update from the PC when transferring the file.

Do you see that anywhere in the spec or doc? I suspect this too because the only possible source of clock data the main repeater can be connected to is the PC/laptop.
Would the main repeater adjust automatically for Daylight Saving Time?

The message is displayed on your PC screen when you transfer the file, that the time is being updated from your PC. As for DST, I think it does, but I'm not 100% on that.

I assumed they used NTP (common way to do time), but I do see the notification that the time is being set. NTP would be more robust with a sync for time settings with the PC application.

The main repeater gets its system time from the computer time that transferred the project file to the system. In locations that observe daylight savings time the system will automatically adjust the time change.
