6NA or 6ND - which is the better dimmer?

I have a client that wants to order a bunch of HQRD-6NDs to run Cree’s 65w equivalent floods but I was told in training that the 6NAs were a much more versatile dimmer. So that is what I use is.

Can someone clarify why one would choose the 6ND over an 6NA besides price?

    Thank you for your help!

For the most part, I always spec the NA because of it's versatility; it means I don't have to worry (too much) when a customer changes the type of bulb they are using..it saves on serivce calls.
