Can I use a LUT-LBX (or load resisitor) with the C-L dimmers?

Have a 2 fixture circuit that totals only 34 watts. Can I add a Lutron synthetic load box or load resistor to the C-L dimmer?

What load type is the dimmer controlling? The 50W minimum load listed for the dimmer is only for load type incandescent or MLV. If it is an LED bulb, we would recommend ensuring it is one we have tested from the list in the link below. At that point, if it is a bulb we have tested, unless otherwise stated in the list, a single fixture would meet the minimum load for the dimmer.

If we have not tested the bulbs you are using, we cannot guarantee the dimming performance or make recommendations as to how best to dim the bulb. It would be best you work with the bulb manufacturer on what their dimming recommendations would be, or mocking up the application to see if dimming the fixtures is satisfactory. Please be aware raising the low end trim could help if the bulb flickers at low end.
