Raise and Lower buttons Affecting Scenes Conditionally

We had a programmer ask how can a keypad not have raise and lower affect scenes if an "off" button was pressed. Sample program attached and description below:

We have a 3brl keypad with buttons “high”, “low”, “off” and raise lowers. There is a variable called “Raise Lower” with default state “Enabled” and other state “Disabled”. If the buttons “high” or “low” are pressed, lights are sent to a level and the variable will be set to state “Enabled”. When the “off” button is pressed, lights are turned off and the variable is set to state “disabled”.

The raise lower buttons will only work when the variable is in the enabled state. They are program type “single variable” based on the Raise Lower variable. On the disabled step, nothing is programmed to them. On the enabled step, they are master raise and lowers.

On the other hand, without conditional programming, you could go to “Tools->Project Settings->Programming” and set the option to “not allow raise from off”. By definition, you will also not be able to use "lower" functionality as the light will be at 0%. Please be aware this will affect all keypads in the system.
