This is a year old, but I was curious about the resolution.
I ended up programming the job where she can push a button on the keypad to activate it by her bed. She then had to turn it off when everything was all safe using a LR-3B-H-SW where she kept one upstairs and one downstairs to turn it off. This was the only job I had a customer ask me to do this so I have not played around with it since.
Thanks, Tom. This is interesting. Could a Pico perform the same function, or would it have to be a VCRX transmitter?
I'm curious what resolution MeadowBrook found, as that sounded awful and would want to avoid for any install.
The pico I believe will be locked out just like the keypads. So as far as I know the visor control is the best way. I know they have added a time out feature which I have not used yet. But I do not know if that would work using the security full on/flash mode. But you then have to wait for it to time out and in the middle of the night it would not be very pleasant.
Seems like for safety sake given MeadowLark's issue, using VCRX control is a good idea as a backup.
