LED remaining on after pulse signal

Just retrofitted a VCRX to control an automatic gate. Have two keypad buttons programmed as "gate open," and "gate closed." Both are outputs on a VCRX, but when actuated with keypad buttons in house LED lights wont remain on. Customer wants to monitor gate position with LHC app and keypad in house, is it possible to program keypad so that LED remains on for "gate open" or "gate closed," respectively? Tried to program as a multi-room scene and as a toggle function. Also, gate operates on a pulse signal not a maintained signal.

Since the output to control the gate is pulsed and there are separate buttons to open and close the gate there is not away in the RadioAR2 system to have the keypad status LED's indicate the state of the gate. If one button was used to toggle the gate opened and closed you could add a dummy load to the project file. You would assign this load to the button that also pulses the CCO to control the gate. The button type would be set to toggle control/ room monitoring. When you press the button the CCO will pulse and since the load is programmed to be on the buttons status LED would be on. When you press the button again the CCO will pulse and the load would toggle off causing the status LED to turn off.

Thanks Craig. Thought about this as well and am going to try to have the dummy load turned off to 0% when gate closed is pushed, and vice versa when gate open is pushed. Should work, thoughts?

Because the CCO is pulsed you would need to use 1 button and a dummy load. By having separate buttons there is not a button type you can use for the close button to only have that LED on when then gate is closed.
