Problem with app name and opening using Google Now on Android?
Google supports opening apps using voice control. But unfortunately the app being named "Home+" does not seem to be usable for this.
The "Google Now" app, also seen as a the Google Search app on most recent phones supports using voice recognition for a lot of stuff. You can say "Ok Google, open {app name**" and it'll open that app. There's no readily apparent way to speak "Home+". Nor does it recognize "open lutron".
Presumably there's some set of hotwords or something that can be added to an android app to allow integrating with Google Now. It'd be great to have some voice control choices here. But at least being able to just open the app would be a good start.

You're right, but FWIW, it does seem to work with Samsung's voice control on my Galaxy SIII by saying "Open Home." However, if you have Hulu Plus installed it seems to want to give that precedence.

I'd like to think there's some sort of framework or something on android to allow for additional triggering for apps.
