Lights in hallway on two sensors with fade dimmer
I would like to control lights in a hallway with a fade on/off dimmer. Occupancy sensor at either end of hallway will turn lights on. Incandescent or LED dimmable lights. What options can I use to accomplish this? I wanted to use the maestro MACL fade dimmer with one other sensor like the MS-OPS2 or MS-OPS5 but I read it may not work. Can I use the MS-OPS as a companion? I believe the wireless radio stuff will allow this but they are really expensive. What is the best way to have two sensors on fade dim lights? With long hallways this must be common.
Thank you, Caleb
Edit: This is new construction so I am not limited to existing wiring.

The MSCL-OP153M is a CFL/LED/INC dimmer with a motion sensor built in. It will work with a single, mechanical 3-way switch. If you have more than 2 locations or want to dim from the other location(s) you can use MA-R remote dimmers. It has a 180 degree view and can see up to 35 feet. Obviously it can not see around corners.
The other option is the RPS sensor family. There are ceiling, hall, wall and corner mount versions. They are battery operated so you could mount them anywhere. You can use multiples with a single dimmer or any combination of 10 devices. You should check with tech support about using multiple sensors to control the same device(s). They work with Maestro Wireless, Grafik T Wireless, RadioRA 2 and HomeWorks. There was some talk of adding compatibility to RA2 Select. Not sure if that has been done yet.

The RPS sensors retail for $80 and a Maestro Wireless CL dimmer is $108. You can find them online for less.
You can not use any of the in-wall sensors as a "sensor only" to provide feedback to another device.
