    Upgrading from an Existing System to HomeWorks QS

    Attached is a Lutron-generated FAQ on upgrading from an existing system to HomeWorks QS. It covers topics from front and back room equipment as well as integration.

    As for QED shades, they are not compatible in the HomeWorks QS system and these can be replaced for QS shades. Please see the attached app note on how to upgrade existing drives to Sivoia QS drives.

    Another option for QED shades would be to treat the existing HomeWorks Illumination processor as a third party system and through it, control the QED shades. For more information on how to Control the HomeWorks Illumination system from HomeWorks QS, please see the forum post below:
