    Intrgrating HomeWorks QS with RadioRA2

Attached are the RadioRA2 and HomeWorks QS project files we used for this programming.

The RadioRA2 project file has 1 load and a keypad. The keypad turns the load on to 100%, 50%, 25% and 0%. There is a telnet login that we created with the username of HWQS and the password of HWQS. This is all the programming that is need in the RadiorA2 side.

The HomeWorks QS file is in version 6.1.0. There is keypad called RA2, a keypad called HWQS, a third party device, along with a RPM and a load. The command set for the third party device has the feedback that the system will be receiving from the RadiorA2 system as well as the commands that are going to be sent to the RadioRA2 system. You will also need to check the option for “Use RS232 terminator” and select the option for line feed and character return. The third party devices should have the IP address of the RadioRA2 main repeater enter into the IP address filed and the user name and password will be the telnet username and password that were entered in the RadioRA2 project file.

In the programming screen there is a keypad called RA2. For this keypad it is the same style of keypad that is in the RadioRA2 project file. The buttons select the corresponding third party command to be sent along with a corresponding state of a variable. The variable has a state for each button. The buttons are programmed as a single action with the LED logic set to be scene. With this programming when a button on the RadioRA2 system is pressed the status LED on this keypad will be lit.

In the programming screen there is a keypad called HWQS. This keypad also has the same keypad configuration as the RadiorA2 keypad. These buttons not only control the HomeWorks QS load but also send a command to simulate the corresponding button on the RAdiora2 system. The buttons are programmed as a single action with the LED logic set to be scene. With this programming when a button on this keypad is press the loads on both systems will respond.

In the programming screen when you select the third party device you will have the ability to program the receiving third party command to perform an action. These commands are programmed to set the variable to the corresponding state as well as to turn on the corresponding HomeWorks QS load. This allows for the RadioRA2 system to not only turn on its load but to also turn on the load on the HomeWorks QS system.
