Anyone using the new Din rail mounted equipment?

Just looking for some feedback from anyone who may have taken the leap.

Looking for advantages/disadvantages compared to traditional RPM modules.

I looked at them for a job with a bunch of 10v loads. Turned out the 10v DIN rail was more expensive with no clear advantage.

I think if you figure an RPM module + The TVM Kit and separate 0/10v Modules is definitely more expensive, and certainly more work than the stand alone DIN rail 0/10v module. Plus you loose an extra module space in the panel with the separate TVM kit.

OK, so I'll ask again, but in a different way.

What are the advantages of using the DIN rail setup over RPM modules? Less noise (switching)? Easier install?

I know the DIN rail modules use a QS link instead of a separate panel link, so we need one less processor link. In reality, on a large system, that isn't going to move the needle much $.

This depends on type of LED being used. A lot of older 0-10 Led dimming drivers didn't not turn light to 0 so the rpm was used to drop out power to the driver forcing the led to 0. However most newer 0-10 led drivers do turn the led off at 0 so rpm is not needed. FYI when using a tvm in an RPM panel although you will loose the rpm spot it is not always necessary to actually use the rpm It is dependent o the driver
