Will a 20 year old companion work with a new Maestro C-L dimmer?

I have a house full of old Maestro's and companions and thinking of starting to update to LED. Do I only have to replace the Maestro dimmer and the old companions will work with the new C-L dimmers? Would sure save a lot of money only replacing the dimmers, but want to know for sure before committing.

I have used them without issue.

Same here. The companion dimmers have not changed over the years. I've even mixed ones from non-Radio RA2 with a Radio RA2 dimmer and works perfectly.

    Hello 494Sparky,

    Thank you for your post!

randyc and dinom are both correct. There should be no issue using the older companion with the new MSCL-OP153M.

    Hope this helps!
