Illuminations RESETIP Command shuts down Link-3 and has to be re-established.

When in terminal mode and LAN connected, the RESETIP command shuts down the Ethernet port and communications has to be re-established. However if done from RS232 link the RESETIP command works fine and doesn't shut down the link.
I find it odd that the command works from one source, but not from another. Other commands appear to work from the Ethernet link. OS can be uploaded along with user Program. It is just the RESETIP command that causes the issue.

DUH! After trying it on another Processor, I found out this was normal. I though I had an issue with the link. But now it makes sense. Live and learn. I would have deleted the post had I known how.
