3-Way Turns On then Off Right Away
I am trying to install a 3 way setup with the Caseta PD-6ANS switch on one end and the original regular 3-way switch at the other location.
The problem is the Caseta switch does nothing to my lights when I try to turn the lights on. The indicator LED light gets brighter but that is all.
If I go to the existing regular 3-way switch it turns the lights on for about 1 second and then they turn off again.
I am looking at page 7 of this wiring diagram from the lutron site: http://www.lutron.com/TechnicalDocum...369831_ENG.pdf (PAGE 7)

I think I have wired this wrong because I am not using the blue wire on the switch but I don't know which wire it would connect to since the box only has a Red, Black and White + Ground.
The existing regular 3-way switch has:
- Two black wires on the black screw
- Red wire connected to the brass screw 1
- White wire connected to the brass screw 2

On page 7, are you using the line side drawing or the load side drawing?

For a 3-way circuit, the blue wire on the PD-6ANS must also be used.
You also need to instalthe included yellow jumper wire over on the mechanical 3-way location.
It sounds like something is miswired. We should be able to help you get this wired up & running in less than 1/2-hour over the phone.
Please call our 24-hour Technical Support hotline at 1-800-523-9466 while you are at the switches.

Thanks, they got me sorted in about half an hour like you said. I never would have figured that wiring out on my own.
