Cycle Dim and Integration Programming
When third party systems are being programmed to control the HomeWorks QS system, they are usually sending button presses. A sample button press integration command will have the format:
#DEVICE,<ID>,<BUTTON #>, 3
When cycle dim is programmed to the button, due to the back end programming cycle dim required, a release would need to be sent instead of a press in order to control this button from a third party system. A button release integration command will have the format:
#DEVICE,<ID>,<BUTTON #>, 4

Update:
If the button is programmed as a conditional or has Hold programming, an integration command of release (,4) will also need to be sent in order to activate the preset.

I am probably the only one who can't remember the meaning of Cycle Dim, so basically this is a note to self:
Cycle-Dim – Cycle-Dim allows the programming of a single button to toggle lights on/off by pressing the button and raise/lower the scene associated with that button by pressing and holding the button. This allows for raise/lower functionality where raise/lower buttons are not available on the keypad.
