    0-10v Dimming

Using a LMJ-5T-DV-B for 0-10V dimming on LED strip lights that go around the crown molding of a room.

The LED supply is a meanwell HLG-B. When connected the lights dim down to about 10%, but never turn all the way off. Are there any adjustments so off is 0%/off?

    Thanks.

The red lead from the module is the switch-leg that should then go to the power supply input. When the module turns off, this will kill power to the driver and make the LED strip go off.

The LED strip lights (24v) are drawing about 9 amps (260 watts). Any idea on a way around a 5amp limit?

the 5a limit is on the 120v side, that would be 600W. Call tech for some help wiring. You aren't supposed to run the LED power through the 0-10v leads, those are strictly for controlling dimmable ballasts and drivers.

After some additional research, a slight modification of cabling will be required. The LMJ will front end the circuit and act like a switch by being able to turn off the power to the LED power source (meanwell HLG).

    Now you've got it right.
