I have an automatic door that is currently programmed with two buttons. One opens the door until it limits out and the other closes the door until it limits out. A momentary closure of the open or close contacts lets this happen. The clients changed their minds and now want to add a stop function on both the buttons.
This is accomplished, from how I read the door documentation, by send a momentary signal to a "stop" contact closure.
Can someone point me in a correct direction for programming this?
I understand that I will need to use a variable.
Should it be multi-state?
I assume I need to use the same variable for both buttons.
What kind of LED feedback can I have and on what do I base that feedback?
Thank you, in advance for any help.
Yours,
David Wilds Patton
