    Want to check switch compatibility

I am looking to replace a current dimmer switch with a smart one that I can control from bed. Even though there seems to be a neutral wire, I don't think my setup would work with most other switches because there's only one hot line and the ground is in the back. Does anyone know if this would work with the Lutron dimmer? Thanks in advance!

Looks like the old way of dropping a switch. You should be able to run a non-neutral switch of dimmer on that. Watch the LED compatibility.

Black in to the dimmer/switch, White out- usually.
