    Centralite Elegance System

Has anyone replaced a Centralite Elegance Lighting System?

    What exists are:
    (15) Keypads, (2) Table Top Wired Keypads
Coleman Cable 67005 22awg 6/C Wire (Shielded & Stranded, not Twisted), looks like 2 Keypad loops
    (1) Large Panel w/ (36) D2425-10 Blocks
    (1) Elegance Master Controller

What worries me most is the wire lengths in the panel, if I swap it out to a PNL-8. Actually considering just using dimmers of WPMs.

Any does or don'ts would be appreciated.

    Thanks, Betsy V.

I would consider RR2. The RR2 keypads can be powered by 48vdc. There is an app note on the Lutron site. It sounds like you only have a few zones. With dimmers you have the option of the 6CL, 6ND, & 6NA. That gives you a lot more LED options. If the loads are LED you can put the dimmers in 4-gangs with minimal derating effect.

The WPM will only do forward phase. If you use WPMs, each zone of the WPM counts as one device.
