Caseta plugin lamp dimmer causes an LED christmas light to flash in OFF mode

Hi - I have a LED christmas light plugged in a Lamp dimmer. It works fine in the ON mode but when the dimmer is OFF, the LED light flashes ON every 3-5 seconds.

I remember reading a while back that it could happen with low voltage lights and a workaround was to also plug a USB charger block into the lamp dimmer, but it doesn't seem to work.

Any reason why it flashes in the OFF mode and any workaround?

Probably under the wattage threshold. There was a guy last year or the year before found the same problem. Added a cheap cell phone usb plug in charger to the Caseta and it seemed to get it up where it needed to be.

I had tried with a USB charger but without an actual device attached to it. With it, the LED christmas light now properly turns OFF and stays OFF.
