Need an advice/guidance on approximate cost estimation of LiteTouch to HWQS migration
I am considering buying a 4500 sqft house with LiteTouch system deployed approx. in 1995, it does not look like it was upgraded or modified since. The house was sold twice already, so the original owner cannot be contacted anymore to get the original documentation/itemized invoice, etc.
I need to quickly estimate how much it would cost me to migrate to HWQS in order to make an informed offer that would account for the system upgrade, any advice on what to look for next time I am in the house? It does not have to be precise, of course but if it's within 25-30 % of the actual cost it should be good enough.
I may not have time to arrange an appointment with a Lurton professional installer with the right expertise to do it for me as the time is of essences here.
Thank you!

Ok, thank you - but pardon my ignorance, what is a definition of a zone - a group of devices controlled as a single unit, like ceiling lights on the same circuit?

Correct. Depending on the way the system was set up it may be hard to determine. With a traditional system if you had one switch for the chandelier, one for the sconces and one for the recess... that would be 3 zones. With lighting control they could all be on the same button so you may not know if it is 1 or 3 zones.
