    MS-OPS5MH 4 -way use question?

If I replace 1 switch in a 4-way (3 switches) circuit with an MS-OPS5MH occupancy sensor, do I need to replace the other 2 switches with MA-AS companion switches? Or, alter the wiring in the other 2 locations?

    Hello Luke_Y,

    Thank you for your post.

When using a MS-OPS5M in a 4-way, you will have to use the MA-AS companion switches in both other locations. In the 4-way you will have to wire differently. I have linked the install guide for the companion switches to show you the proper wiring diagram.

http://www.lutron.com/TechnicalDocum...0865_MA-AS.pdf as a note this shows the Maestro switch, which requires a neutral. The MS-OPS5M does not so it can be installed in any switch location.

    Hope this helps!
