PD-6WCL appears dead, turns on intermittently

I’ve had a PD-6WCL in my master bedroom for about a year now, with no issues. Typical installation, 110V, no 3-way switching involved. Suddenly, it seems it has no power, and won’t switch the light. Twice now, it’s come back, only to die again after a day or so of operation. Toggling the breaker does nothing. Anybody have any advice? I can’t justify the cost of these switches if they’re only going to last a year.

I have been experiencing the same problem over the last couple days - except my dimmer is less than 6 months old. In my case the load was a Philips 458828 60W soft white clear A19 dimmable LED. Last night I swapped it out with a different bulb and it's working normally right now. Interestingly, the old bulb seems to be working fine in another albeit non-dimmed fixture. Still, I am hoping the bulb is the problem because I would really prefer not to have to uninstall and return the dimmer.

Try putting an incandescent equal for the interim. If the problem goes away, too little load with the LED. If it persists, bad dimmer.
