Solution for single-pole ceiling fan to control light/fan dimming + led?

Have been searching for an alternative to Maestro 1 Amp Single-Pole 7-Speed Combination Fan and Light Control (Model # MA-LFQHW-WH) to allow me to dim lights and control fan speed from the wall and allow for LED bulbs? I'm stuck with single pole wiring as replacing wiring is not an option. Wondering if an RA2 unit would help? I'm open to having to switches on the wall. Just having a hard time using search function to narrow down my options...

RA2 does not have this device available. Do you have attic access to the fan to get another wire to the fan? I have a similar situation in my own house. I chose to run a hybrid keypad to control the lights, and added a fan speed control in the attic.

Unfortunately no access to attic as it's on the main floor. A previous remodel cut out a large portion of the wall that the switch is on, so to run new wire would require a lot of drywall removal and re-routing. Stumped why they wouldn't have upgrade wire at the time.
