Default text entry field

Here's something that annoys me on almost a daily basis-

Whenever you add a device or double click on a device the text entry defaults to the Device Location field. That is great if you are adding a new device in a new location. However, if I am adding a device to an existing location I don't want to change the device location name, I want to start by entering a name... likewise, if I double click on an existing device its because I usually want to change the naming... anyhow, i'm fully aware that I can just hit tab twice to get down there, but somehow 25% of the time I forget to do that and end up starting to rename the device location.

I'd like to be able to set default model numbers. On some projects it may be the 6CL, others may be the 6ND, etc. I rarely use the 8S-DV.
