Dummy serial number for virtual keypad activation?

    Hi -
Is there a dummy serial number I could use for a virtual keypad in order to prevent it from hanging up the activation process? I use the virtual keypad for Alexa commands.
    Thanks,
    Mike

The "virtual" keypad will only throw an orange note that it was not activated. The main repeater via the app should be able to access the virtual keypad. Is Alexa not able to access the non-activated keypad?

Alexa is working fine. The problem here is that I'm expanding the system with lots of additional RR2 devices, and this virtual keypad causes the activation process to hang.

Hi Mike, would you mind sharing how you programmed/designed the virtual keypad? I am having trouble with mine.. they are not showing up in the Lutron Connect app or with Alexa.

I didn't do anything special as I recall. I added the keypad, added programming for the buttons, transferred, and it showed up in Lutron Connect. From there I chose which buttons I wanted Alexa to control, and then told Alexa to discover devices.
