How do i go about programming a light to go on at 6 pm and off at midnight?
You would need two different time clock events for this functionality. In the programming screen on the left hand side you would click on the timeclock tab. Here make a new time clock event and set the time for 6pm. After the event is created you would select the loads on the right hand side of the screen and assign the loads. You would then need to create another time clock event for 12am and follow the same step.
How do you tell the light to turn on and then turn off. I was able to do what you said but not sure how it will know which time it needs to turn either on or off.
Thanks for the help
Clarence,
Programming a time clock is similar to programming a scene on a keypad. For each event you will assign the loads to the time clock and tell them what level to go to. If using a dimmer you will tell the dimmer to go to a certain percentage, e.g. on to 75%, and 0% to shut off. A switch will say either ON or OFF.
Attached is a mock up of two time clocks that turn on and off lights.
Kevin,
Thanks, that did it. It was a dimmer and i never saw an on and off, but didnt think about setting it to 0%.
Thanks to you and Craig both.
