Thread: Two or people in the same house

Two or people in the same house

When I leave the house, I have it setup to turn off all the lights, etc. What happens when I leave, but there are still family members in the house so I don't want the lights to go off? How do I fix this?

you have to look at using a third party (if there is even one) one of the huge limitations of the caseta location based actions.

    3rd party? Any ideas?
I just find it hard to believe that there is no way around this. I can't be the only person with this issue.

As this part of the Caseta system is app based, and not server based, there isn't any way around this through Caseta.
I know that this is possible through the Nest server, if you have Nest products at the house.

Luton Caseata lights are made for a one person household? Other home automation products are able to do this like Nest as you mentioned. I have ecobee thermostats and 2 Nest cams. Lutron is a big part of my automation. Will this be changed eventually? I love using the Lutron lights, but there has to be a way eventually where Lutron will address this issue.
