Unpair pico remote from Caseta dimmer?

I made a mistake linking pico remotes to dimmers and need to redo one (5-button type with favorite button).

I tried the reset procedure on the pico (triple tap - hold - triple tap again), and got the blinking expected, but the remote still activates the dimmer.

How do I unlink the pico from the dimmer(s)? (One Caseta Pro and one Caseta ELV+)

This must be documented--what did I miss?

    Thanks!

are you using the hub? if so you pick the pico in the app and tell it what lights to control.

No hub, just the Caseta dimmers and remotes.

To un-pair a previously paired Picotap the OFF buttonon the Pico three times, on the third tap hold for 6 seconds and then tap three more times. This will remove all dimmers/switches it was previously paired with.

I had tried the triple-OFF routine a few times and didn't get it to work. Today it worked. Problem solved. Thanks.

    Cannot unpair Pico Remote

We have 9 Pico Remotes. 7 work perfectly.
2 of them operate the light they are supposed to operate PLUS another switch they are not supposed to operate.
Have tried to unpair both of the problem Pico’s multiple times, so that I can hopefully get them to work correctly, but those steps do not work on either of these Pico’s. They continue to run the lights even after following the unpair instructions.
    Hope you can help ? ? ? 😟
    Thank you —-

You would need to default the Caseta dimmers as that is where the association memory is stored, then pair dimmers back to the Pico remotes you want them associated to.

    Resolved !!

Finally talked to a LIVE BODY at Lutron customer support. Had me do this......

On the lower ((off)) button on the Pico, quickly tap 4 times and hold the button down on the 5th press until the solid green indicator light comes on. Then again, quickly tap the lower button 4 times.

Evidently I was doing the process too slowly.
As soon as that solid indicator light comes on, immediately release the button and quickly tap it again 4 more times.
He also said that if the 4 tap method mentioned here does not work, try it with 5 taps.

The 4 tap process worked perfectly for both of my Pico’s. Hopefully it will resolve your issue as well.
