Pd-6wcl - no power at switch - lights working

Installed dimmer switch - switch lit up - landscape lights lit up- set up bridge and had a couple of issues getting router to recognize bridge but finally got it up and running.
Worked great and I set up a schedule. Set a time for lights on at dusk and lights off at midnight. Lights turned on as scheduled but awoke this morning to see they did not turn back off. Went to turn them off at switch and it wouldn't work. Noticed switch was not lit up (green indicator lights). Had to flip breaker at panel to turn lights off.
Load is incandescent/halogen right now and under 600 watt maximum.

Switch is between panel and remote magnetic 120/12v transformer for landscape lights.

One black wire of switch connected to black wire from panel. One black wire of switch connected to black wire to transformer. White neutrals from panel and transformer tied together.

    Suggestions?

Is this switch capable of running a Magnetic transformer?

    Not officially.

SONIANIC- try pulling the FASS/Gap switch at the bottom of the dimmer and see if that also resets the dimmer like throwing the breaker did. I suspect you'll need to replace that dimmer with a PD-10NXD-WH which Lutron rates for MLV dimming.
