    Processor Link blink codes

We received this question from a customer, and thought others might be interested in this topic...

Is there a way to tell what type a link is programmed to the proc by how the led blinks on L1 or L2?

    RE: Processor Link blink codes

There is not a set blink code for each link type as depending on if the processor is send or receiving information will determine what the TX/RX LED will be doing.

While this is true, there are some things you can tell. For example, the MI link is a streaming protocol so the TX/RX LED is continuously flashing. The RF link tends to flutter when there is communication while the QS link TX/RX tends to stay on a little longer.
