Options for driveway sensor to turn on lights?

Hi, does anyone have suggestions on how to set up a RadioRA2-based sensor system where driveway sensors or backyard sensors can be used to turn on lights controlled by RadioRa2 light switches? Thanks!

We've used driveway pressure sensors to activate a contact closure input on the VCRX. Link the CCI to scene on the VCRX to activate the switches or dimmers in question. You can set the VCRX as momentary or maintained, and also on the open or close. This can be translated into door sensors watching doors open or close, windows for shades, etc.

Thanks! Do you have any good recommendations for these pressure sensors? Do they detect people as well as cars?

We used existing sensors that were installed by the gate people. I would assume there are smaller sensors that would pick up people, or using a photo eye like the bells at the front of a retail business' door. I would start with either security distributors or garage/gate distributors.

We had a client who wanted us to the same thing but use the sensors time delay to shut off the driveway lights. The only problem was that we a timeclock event whixh turned the driveway lights on at dusk. If a driver pulled into the driveway, with the lights already on, nothing would happen off course - until the sensor time delay expired: it would turn the lights off for the rest of the timing cycle.
