    HWI-PM-d48-120 Power surge damage-

    Hello
I have a customer here in NJ that has an old wired homeworks system that appears to have been damaged from a surge.
His entire house is now offline and he has no control of any lights in his large home. The system was installed 17 years ago by a company no longer in business.

Does anyone know any local to NJ Homeworks programmers/installers?

My other question is can he go to the processor location and control the lights manually to get him some lights at least for now?

If you go to Lutron's website ( http://www.lutron.com/en-us/Pages/WT...buy.aspx?AID=1 ) and click thru as if you are homeowner you'll get a list of dealers.

Inside of each Dimming Panel (I'm assuming they have something like HWI-PNL-8 http://www.lutron.com/TechnicalDocum...ed-through.pdf ) you'll find a HWI-MI-120. This has a contact closure input that is most likely unused.

    http://www.lutron.com/TechnicalDocum...0Interface.pdf

If you connect a toggle switch across the input ON will likely turn all lights in that panel ON, and OFF will turn all lights off.

    Hope this helps-
